My first capsule review of 2011 is this excellent Philippine made film starring John Ashley as a man who travels back to Blood Island to continue his quest to kill a green blooded monster that almost killed him in the first film entitled Mad Doctor Of Blood Island.
Joining him this time is a sexy photographer played Celeste Yarnall. This is an interesting monster tale that no doubt influenced the makers of Re-Animator as the head of the monster commands the body to get up and kill the mad doctor.
Wow, they don't make good films like this anymore.
For lovers of movies from the silent era to modern day with an emphasis on horror, sci-fi, exploitation, WIP, westerns and anything of the fantastic and bizarre.
