BIG DOLL HOUSE 1971 (SHOUT FACTORY)

This is it.....The first and most popular WIP film that set the stage for all the others to come. Jack Hill directed this top notch genre entry which stars Pam Grier in her first role as well as Judy Brown, Roberta Collins, Sid Haig and Pat Woodell.
Woodell is a political prisoner whose boyfriend, whom we never see is leading a revolution and Woodell escapse from the prison with the sadistic matron in tow. Lots of gun fights and gorgeous bodies on display make this a winner.
Filmed in the Philippines on a very low budget, this film was such a huge success that Roger Corman immediately set out to make Big Bird Cage and then Women In Cages.
Torture, sex, drug use, and light comedy enhance this very well made film. Highly Recommended!! Also on this disc is a 48 minute documentary entitled From Manila With Love and features interviews with Corman, Judy Brown, Anitra Ford, Jack Hill and many, many others. A huge thanks to Shout Factory to making all three films available.
