This is a film I had never seen until a few days ago. Directed by William Girdler, this film is proported to be based on the events of Ed Gein, but that is bunk. This is about a young man who invites four women to his home after he finds them stranded at the side of the road with car problems.
A massacre ensues which includes one of the best decapitation scenes I have ever witnessed!!
More deaths follow as his father tries to cover things up for the young man. The movie does have some interesting twists and turns. Charles Kissinger in the young man's father, James Pickett is Billy, the young man who may be a killer and look for Linda Thompson as Debbie who is so damn sexy it isn't funny.
This is the hardest to see of all the Girdler films and it is finally available from a company I have never heard of and cannot find anything about. The print is taken from a VHS tape, and while this isn't a prestine, perfect print, it is watchable and I highly recommend it for horror fans.
Don't let the fact that this isn't remastered and high def and all that crap deter you from seeing this.
