ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN 1948 (UNIVERSAL)

The best horror/comedy ever made.

Wilbur Grey and Chick Young are two baggage clerks who get tangled up with the Frankenstein Monster and Dracula while delivering the bodies to a museum.

Lou Costello is right on the money with his portrayal of Wilbur, a hapless clerk who is the target of Dracula because he wants to have Wilbur's brain put inside of the Frankenstein monster, and Bud Abbott is Chick Young who refuses to believe in monsters..

This is undoubtedly the duos greatest film and it is one of the funniest films of all time. Universal gathered all of their top horror actors including Glenn Strange as the Monster, Lon Chaney as the Wolfman, Bela Lugosi as Dracula an the voice of Vincent Price as The Invisible Man. The rest of the cast includes Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson and Lenore Aubert.

This is perfect filmmaking an the duo was never funnier than they are right here, which is really saying something considering they are the greatest comedy duo ever. Recommended!
