James Best has died. Best is remembered for, at least for people who read this blog from such films as "Killer Shrews", "Return Of the Killer Shrews", "Seven Angry Men", "Apache Drums" and several "Twilight Zone" episodes.
He is probably best known for his role as Roscoe P. Coltrane in the hit TV show "Dukes Of Hazzard". His best role in my opinion was in the 1959 western "Ride Lonesome" in which he starred along Randolph Scott.
He died on April 6 from complications from pneumonia at the age of 88. He leaves us all a wonderful legacy of films that are as entertaining today as they were back in the day.
