He is best known to US audiences for playing Hercules in several films including "Hercules Against The Moonmen" and "Hercules And The Masked Rider" amongst several others.
Ciani started his film career in 1958 with the film "Hercules Unchained" which starred Steve Reeves in the lead role. After the Hercules craze ended, Ciani went on to others roles in many genres of films including horror, spaghetti westerns and comedies.
Goddspeed to Sergio Ciani, or as we know him here in the US Alan "Hercules" Steel. Cause of death is not known as of this writing.
