BLIND CORNER 1964 (TUBI)

Another excellent British film noir from director Lance Comfort.

A woman named Anne (Barbara Shelley) is married to a blind songwriter, Paul (William Sylvester). Paul makes a lot of money from his job and Anne lives very well.

Anne is having an affair with a young artist named Ricky (Alex Davion). Anne works every angle to get a chance to spend time with Ricky and the two plot to kill Paul since he has told Anne that if she leaves him he will cut her off from all of his money.

One day in a recording studio Paul's good friend Mike (Mark Eden) tells him that he saw his wife and Ricky in a fancy eating establishment, and they were getting very intimate.

Paul decides to set a trap for his unfaithful wife, but that is where the film takes a great bizarre turn. Things are not what they seem, and Ricky is the main victim here.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen this movie, but it is a doozy of a twist. All of the actors in the film do a perfect job and the movie really holds the attention of the viewer.

Barbara Shelley is beautiful as always as is Elizabeth shepard who plays Joan, who is Paul's secretary and best friend. These films have been showing up on TUBI recently and it's a joy that they are finally being seen by people. If you care to, check it out.
