HONEYMOON OF TERROR 1964 (AFGA)

Rare cinema with little going on.

This is a very minimalist tale about a newly married couple that decide to go on a honeymoon to Las Vegas.

The Husband, Frank (Doug Leith) decides that they should spend time on a small deserted island near Vegas and his wife Marion (Dwan Marlow quiuckly agrees.

They rent a boat and travel across a lake to the island and while Marion sets up their camp, Frank goes back to get some supplies. Soon Marion discovers that she is not alone.

A rapist is loose on the island and hiding from people, and he targets Marion as his next victim. The majority of the movie is spent havinf the fiend chase Marion all over the island.

Frank learns of the legend of the escaped rapist on Thunder Island and heads back for a final confrontation. It isn't much to say the least, but in the end the rapist is killed and the two survive the incident.

This looks, at first glance like a "nudie-cutie" film, but there really is no nudity to be had. Just a brief topless scene with Marion in a bathtub. It only runs 62 minutes, and that helps, but there was so much potential that was not used in the making of this movie.

You might want to take a peek if you're curious, but if you don't see the movie you're not missing anything anyway.
