Maharis passed away at the age of 94 on May 24th, 2023 and his most famous role was that of Buzz on the TV series "Route 66".
He was in many, many TV shows including "Kojak", "Bionic Woman", "Night Gallery" just to name a very few.
His movie roles were in films like "Satan Bug", :Land Raiders", "The Happening", and "Exodus" just to name a few. His acting career spanned 40 years and he never failed to entertain no matter what the role called for.
