Lang Jeffries is an American agent named Mike Drum who is sent to Beirut to investigate the murder of a young woman who was the daughter of a famous scientist.
He discovers that the scientist named Freeman (Umberto Ceriani) is working on a formula that will cure cancer, but there are evil people who are trying to stop him and develope a mind altering drug instead.
There are a LOT of gunfights and fisticuffs and once the action starts it never lets up. Jeffries handles the lead role very well and there are more plots twists than I have seen in a movie in some time.
The colors are very deep and the Lebanon scenery is very nostalgic. It was beautiful once, just like most of the world. Anyway, this is an Italian produced spy film shot on location and it all makes for one heck of a great and somewhat obscure film.
The rest of the cast includes Emma Daniela, Erika Blanc and Jose Bodalo. With beautiful women such as Daniela and Blanc in a film, you simply cannot go wrong.
I highly recommend this little film. It's running on TUBI now and that is the only place I can find it.
