INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN 1956 (SINISTER CINEMA)
Lon Chaney, Jr. is "Butcher" Benton, a killer with $600,000 dollars hidden somewhere and doomed to die in the gas chamber.
After the execution a scientist accidently revives the Butcher with 280,000 volts of electricity, making him impervious to bullets or anything else. He kills the scientist and his assistant, then heads out to looks for the three men who double crossed him.
This is an interesting sci-fi film from the period and I always love how cheap it looks!!
Casey Adams is the detective on the case, Marian Carr is Eva, the showgirl Benton liked, Ross Elliot gives a great performance as crooked attorney Paul Lowe, Ken Terrell is Joe Marcilli and Robert Shayne is Prof. Bradshaw, the man who accidently brings the butcher back to life. You will also notice Joe Flynn as his assistant.
I recommend this film as it is no worse and no better than a lot of low budget cinema, and hey it has Lon Chaney, Jr.
