Four young people rent a cabin in a small Colorado town and soon find that tentacled monsters from a long abandoned mine have been awakened and are hungry.
These little monsters are quite mean and hungry as they devour certain cast members. Gorgeous Rebecca Balding and Anne Marie Martin are the two young women and the men are played by Fred McCarren and Jeff Harlan.
Also on hand are Jon Lormer and Med Florey. This is how to make a low budget film that works. Director James Conway knows how to build up suspense and he does not show us the monsters until very late in the film. Wow, if only the knuckleheads who make movies today could make films like this.
Olive has put out a beautiful widescreen presentation of this film and any horror fan would be amiss not to add this to their collection.
