Another cool sword and sandal flick with interesting monsters.
Richard Harrison stars as Perseo a man who finds himself helping an enslaved people fight against an evil tyrant. He also finds himself trying to defeat a monster that resides in a nearby lake and a hideous Medusa that turns people to stone.
The opening scene of the film finds two fighting armies going at it until one retreats. On their retreat they are attacked by a monster in a lake, and then end up in the valley of the Medusa. It's a great scene!!
The monsters for this mini epic were created by Carlo Rambaldi, and the medusa is a sight to behold. I remember when I first saw this film, I was blown away by the Medusa and now Sinister brings us a beautiful widescreen presentation that pus all others to shame.
If you're a sword and sandal fan this is an absolute must. Dubbed in English and even includes the original "Sons Of Hercules" theme.
