HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM 1959 (VCI)

An all time classic of British horror!

A demented writer of crime books kills people or has his hypnotized assistant do it and then writes about the crimes and makes millions of dollars. Michael Gough is unforgettable as Edmond Bancroft, a sadistic killer/author.

Director Arthur Crabtree does a remarkable job and several scenes will always stand out from the rest including the infamous "binocular" scene, the classic confrontation between Edmond and his sexy blonde mistress and the ending where the assistant climbs the ferris wheel.

Horror fans should be pleased with this effort and VCI has a nice widescreen print.
