Kirk Morris stars as Anthar, a noble and honest man who fights an evil overlord in North Africa and attempts the rescue of a young woman sold into slavery after her father is killed.
Antonio Margarhetti directed this film and Sergio Carbucci was an assistant. There is plenty of action and adventure to make the film enjoyable but the print i have is very washed out and, sadly, not in scope.
I keep hoping someday all of these peplum films will be released on DVD in glorious widescreen and great color. Until then we all have to do with what we can get.
This is one of countless Sons of Hercules films, and like all those should be seen by fans of the genre.
