This Jimmy Sangster directed Hammer film really packs a wallop. A young woman played by beautiful Judy Geeson and her husband Robert (Ralph Bates) move to the grounds of a school so he can begin teaching class in the fall.
Several times Geeson's character of Peggy is attacked by a mysterious one armed man and Robert will not believe her as she is recovering from a nervous breakdown.
Things get really out of hand and Peggy uses a rifle to protect herself when Robert is away. It finally gets to the point where she believes she has killed the Headmaster of the school played by Peter Cushing.
I don't want to give away anything else, but this takes a very bizarre and great turn into unexpected territory. The cast is exceptional and also includes Joan Collins (looking hotter than hell), Gillian Lind, James Cossins and John Brown.
If you haven't seen this Blu-ray you should. The movie is a real treat and a MUST for fans of horror and mystery. It's also great to get two women such as Geeson and Collins playing off of one another. Both look great and are easy on the eye.
This is recommended horror.
