MANEATER OF HYDRA (SHOUT FACTORY)

Cameron Mitchell stars as a mad Baron who raises a plant that lives on human blood in this bizarre film directed by actor Mel Welles. The Baron gets paying guests to stay at his castle and they are killed one by one for food the plant must have to live.
Mitchell was a veteran of this kind of film and does his role well although his voice is dubbed by someone else. The ending is a hoot...by that I mean it is entertaining with tons of blood and pouring rain. Shout Factory released this as part of a two disc set of Elvira's Movie Macabre and it can be viewed either with or without her. Recommended Horror!!
