NIGHTMARE THEATER KCPX TV
Hey i found this cool ad from the Deseret News of a show that KCPX TV used to run, which I watched during the late 70's when I lived in Livingston, Montana.
I used to watch Nightmare Theater in c. 1982, when I was in Provo as a student. Here's my reconstruction of the introduction. It was from this show that I saw "Plan Night From Outer Space," a film so bad I told my wife all about it the following morning.
I remember the, "1020 Double Feature Nightmare." Was that the "Nightmare Theater" I see mentioned here? Did anyone else watch this? I seek information.
I used to watch this in the 60's. My Horror film heritage began here. Fireman Frank (Ron Ross?) 'sang' the intro in a pseudo scary voice. Flashlights played over a haunted house miniature. Wasn't it called the, "1020 Double Feature Nightmare"? Anyone with any knowledge or past experience with this show, please contact me or comment here.
I cannot BELIEVE you found this ad. I remember this ad clearly with the monster with the extended hands. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteI share your disbelief and unbounding gratitude for this 'blast from the past,' Pops. I cut my Horror film teeth on this program.
