I first saw this on TV when I was about 7 years of age on a double feature with The Wolfman and it has always stuck with me, and over the years become a favorite of mine. I do need to thank Greg Luce at Sinister for making this one available.
Anthony Dexter is one of several astronauts that land on the 13th moon of Jupiter and find it inhabited by one elderly man, a bizarre looking fire monster and a bevy of beautiful women. The women are attracted to the men and vice versa of course, and together they try and fight off the monster and make for a better world for the women.
The special effects are stolen from King Dinosaur and the acting leaves a lot to be desired, but this is nothing but fun if you are undemanding in your movie viewing. Interesting to note that the gorgeous Kim Parker from "Fiend Without A Face" has small role as a secretary to an astronomer.
Good 50's fun.
