Boris Karloff is Dr. Niemann, who, along with his hunchbacked assistant kill the owner of a traveling show assume new identities while trying to bring Dracula back to life to take revenge on their enemies. Dracula, played by John Carradine menaces lovely Anne Gwynne but is killed by the rays of the sun while trying to escape the police.
The mad Doctor and his assistant then move on to Frankenstein castle where they find the remains of the monster and the Wolfman. Niemann wants to bring the monster to life to do his evil bidding. Glenn Strange plays the monster this time around and Lon Chaney is Larry Talbot, the Wolfman.
lionel Atwill and Elena Verdugo do well in the supporting cast. A fine Universal chiller that is very, very entertaining. Recommended!!
