Lugosi stars as a criminal mastermind known as the Vampire who is trying to complete his experiments on mind control. He has a robot shipped to him and it ends up in the hands of an old lady named Mother Riley.
Riley is played by Arthur Lucan, who played Old Mother Riley in several English movies and was very popular. This is the final film in the series. Lugosi plays the comedy well and actually shows a flair for it.
The movie is probably best remembered for it's memorable theme song sung by Allen Sherman which has the same title as the film. The movie is also known as "Old Mother Riley Meets The Vampire." Sherman's tune is very good and will always be remebered. Recommended for anyone who likes comedy.
