Special effects legend Ray Harryhausen passed away today at the age of 92. Ray was and will always be an undisputed king of stop motion animation. His movies include everything from "Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers" to "Golden Voyage Of Sinbad", which is my personal favorite.
Other classic films Ray worked on were "Mighty Joe Young", "Jason And The Argonauts", "Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad" and many others. I grew up watching the film magic of Harryhausen and it was a huge influence on me. His type of film magic will never be seen again. We have lost the KING of film effects. RIP Ray.
