Barbara was a HUGE part of my growing up years and I considered her one of the finest and most beautiful women in British cinema.
She began her acting career in 1953, but gained a look or two in the US with her starring role in a low budget horror film called "Cat Girl", and after that I saw her in a lot of great films from Hammer films.
Some of the films she appeared in include "The Camp On Blood Island", "The Gorgon", "Secret Of Blood Island", Dracula, Prince Of Darkness" and her most famous role as Barbara Judd in "Quatermass And The Pit".
Besides Hammer fims she also starred in films like "Shadow Of The Cat", "Blood Of The Vampire", and TV shows like "The Avengers", "The Donna Reed Show" and many more.
She passed awy on Jan 4th, 2021 at the age of 88. Her legacy in films for Hammer will forever live on.
