He began his acting career in 1958 in the film "A Night To Remember" and made many films after that. The film that made him famous with horror fans world wide was his starring role in the 1961 Mario Bava classic "Black Sunday" made in Italy.
He also starred in the 1965 Hammer film entitled "She" opposite Ursula Andress and then the next year he was "Tumak" in "One Million Years B.C. opposite Raquel Welch. Two years later he made the Hammer film "The Vengeance Of She" with Olinka Berova.
Richardson was a very handsome man who was always a dependable actor and I have never seen him in anything I didn't like. He did get to star with some of the worlds most beautful women, and that is any mans dream job.
He passed away on Jan. 5th, 2021 at the age of 86.
