Dan Curtis is a name that will forever be associated with TV horror with such movies as "The Night Stalker", "The Night Strangler", "Trilogy Of Terror" and much more.
However, in 1966 he started a mini cultural revolution with the gothic soap opera DARK SHADOWS.
This 90 minutes looks at his career and how he started Dark Shadows is something to watch and enjoy. Curtis was a very driven man who took risks that mostly paid off, and the soap was one of them.
We are treated to many clips from the show including some of the bloopers and we hear from such people as Barbara Steele, William F. Nolan, Robert Cobert and many more.
If you're a fan of DARK SHADOWS you simply MUST see this film. Many cast members are interviewed as well and that brings back a lot of memories. We even hear an older interview with Barnabus Collins himself Jonathan Frid!!
Many of the people in this have since passed away including Frid and Curtis, but they have left a lasting legacy of great entertainment and fantastic childhood memories.
