George Segal, the celebrated actor who starred in such film as WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, KING RAT, SHIP OF FOOLS and my personal favorite THE ST. VALENTINES DAY MASSACRE has passed away at the age of 87.
He started his career in 1960 in a TV movie entitled THE CLOSING DOOR and appeared in many TV series until his break in movies in 1964.
His career spanned 61 years and his last role was that of Albert "Pops" Solomon in the current TV show THE GOLDBERGS. He was a very dependable actor who was always a welcome face in any film he did.
Segal passed away on March 23rd 2021.
