The first six years of Murray's acting career were spent in TV appearing in such shows as "United States Steel Hour", "Studio One" and "Danger".
In 1956 his break came with the role of Bo Decker in "Bus Stop" with Marilyn Monroe. After this he made many meorable movies such as :The Hoodlum Priest", "One Foot In Hell", "Baby The Rain Must Fall" and "The Borgia Stick".
Some of his genre films include Hammer's "The Viking Queen", "Daughter Of The Mind" and his most remembered role as Governor Breck in "Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes".
Don Murray passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 94.
