SPY TODAY, DIE TOMORROW 1967 (TUBI)

Not too bad of a spy movie, but it is over long.

Instead of running 108 minutes it would have been much better had it been about 90 minutes. This German made film stars Lex Barker as secret agent Bob Urban.

He is called in when a millionaire named Baretti (Amedeo Nazzari) pays a gang to steal an Atomic Bomb, and then demands 0ne billion dollars in ransom for it's return.

There is an awful lot of padding and some un-needed comedy, but that us what happens when you pad out a film. Barker always makes a great secret agent, but there is one primary reason to watch this film.

What is that reason? The women, of course. Gorgeous Maria Perschy is Lu, a young woman who never makes it clear which side she is working for, if any.

Perschy was one of the most beautiful Euro starlets ever and in this movie her sex appeal really shines. The rest of the cast includes Wolfgang Preiss, Brad Harris, Gisela Hahn, Silvia Solar, Heidi Adenau and Dieter Eppler.

This one I caught by accident on TUBI, and if you enjoy 60's Euro spy movies, you might like this.
