On May 14th Shout at long last brings US the long overdue Blu-ray of the 1956 British sci-fi film Quatermass 2 starring Brian Donlevy as the intrepid Prof. Quatermass who is trying to stop an invasion of the Earth by monstrous aliens.
This could be the release of the year, however Shout will also be releasing on that same day Quatermass and The Pit AKA Five Million Years To Earth starring Andrew Keir as Quatermass.
Both of these have been requested for years by fans and finally it will happen. These are two discs that will be a day one purchase for me. Also on May 21st Shout will release the Blu-ray of Earthquake with Charlton Heston. I have always liked this film and am glad to see it coming out again.
I don't have prices for any of these yet, but I am sure it will be in the 20 dollar range. Thank You Shout Factory!!
