Corman produced this great little gore in space film about a lab experiment that gets loose on a small, remote planet and starts eating the inhabitants. it grows rather quickly and a federation marshal is called in to stop the threat.
The monster in very cool looking and moves very quickly. Jesse Vint is the marshal, Mike Colby who keeps a level head while other start to panic. Gorgeous Dawn Dunlap is Tracy Baxter and we get to see her nude quite a bit which is always a plus. She falls quickly in love with Colby and they are the only two who live thru this experience.
Linden Chiles is the doctor who created the monster, June Chadwick is another damn sexy female scientist and Fox Harris is Dr. Cal Timbergen, who has Colby cut out his cancer infected liver and feed it to the monster in an unforgettable scene!
You will notice that the interiors are made of egg cases and McDonalds Styrofoam hamburger containers! I kind you not. This is a low budget affair for sure, but it is a hell of a ride and very fun to watch. I would recommend this to any Corman fan or any sci-fi in general.
