Some pretty neat stuff is headed to Blu-ray and DVD.

Shout Factory has announced that they will be releasing the 1973 horror film "SSSSSSSSS" to Blu-ray sometime in 2016. I have always liked this movie as I saw it upon first release and it made one hell of an impression.

Also from Shout around Mother's Day will see the release of the obscure 1972 Universal film "YOU'LL LIKE MY MOTHER" starring Patty Duke Astin and Richard Thomas. This will be a Blu-ray release.

Kino has announced the release of "STRANGE SHADOWS IN AN EMPTY ROOM" starring Stuart Whitman. A very bizarre film indeed.

Finally, VCI has set the date of Feb. 23rd for the ultra deluxe Blu-ray edition of the classic "CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS". This disc will include some pretty cool extras including video tributes to the director, the late Bob Clark, trailers and rare vintage radio spots not heard since the film came out in 1972. This is easily one of the top releases for 2016!!!
