Robert Stigwood was the manager of the Bee Gees but is better known for producing a huge line of great motion pictures including "SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER", "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" and the all time box office champ of musicals, "GREASE".
Stigwood was also the founder of the highly successful record label RSO which stood for Robert Stigwood Organization. During the mid to late 70's Stigwood did more for the pop music scene than anyone else alive.
He was also the manager of Creme and when the group broke up, singer Eric Clapton remained signed to RSO and had a great deal of success.
Stigwood's legacy will live on forever in pop music fans hearts. He was 81.
