Lovely Ingrid Pitt stars as a woman who discovers that the blood of virgins will make her young, but only for a certain amount of time.
This is discovered by accident and then the Countess Elisabeth Nodosheen finds she needs more and more blood to stay young so she can marry a handsome Lt. in the army. The Lt. Imre Toth is played by Sandor Eles who does an outstanding job with the role as a young man drawn into a nightmare with dire consequences.
Pitt is absolutely gorgeous in this film and it's easy to see why every man falls for her. This is Hammer at it's best and I cannot recommend this film enough. The Blu-ray is spectacular and a MUST have.
The rest of the cast includes Nigel Green as Capt. Dobi, the castle Steward who wants Pitt, but is always shoved to the back by her lust for younger men, Lesley-Anne Down, Maurice Denham and Patience Collier.
