Ray Milland stars as Jason Crockett, a very rich man who is having a party on his Florida estate. Things start going wrong when various members of his family are being killed by the insects and animals living in the area.
There are some pretty gruesome deaths and it is all done very well for the most part. Sam Elliot is a photographer who surmises that nature is fighting back due to the use of pollutants.
One character is killed by spiders an that has always made my skin crawl as well as the death of kindly Iris, played by Holly Irving. It's always a pleasure to see Judy Pace in a film, and here she looks extremely sexy, a trait I never worried about when I was 10 and saw this for the first time.
Just ignore all the bad crap you read about this film, and if you get a chance check it out. The rest of the cast includes Joan Van Ark, George Skaff, Adam Rorke, and Lynn Borden.
