Fowler was not only a regular on The Johnny Carson show when late night TV wasn't liberal garbage, he was also the host of the highly popular "Wild Kingdom" from Mutual Of Omaha.
He co-hosted the show with Marlin Perkins, and every Sunday night out entire family would watch the program which ran for 8 years.
Fowler moved on to Animal planet and hosted a show there and made numerous appearances on Johnny Carson that always brought a smile to anyone watching.
Fowler was a part of my cultural upbringing rthat I will never forget. He passed away on May 8th at the age of 87.
