Three Texas Border patrol agents Hoppy Cassidy (William Boyd), California (Andy Clyde) and Johnny Travers (Jay Kirby) find a dying Mexican man and before he can say anything he dies.
The three men decide to investigate and are soon trapped in a self ruled town by a madman named Orestes Krebs (Russell Simpson). He sentences the men to death in order to cover up the fact that he is using slave labor to work in a mine.
Hopp and the others must escape before it's too late. This is an excellent entry in the series and it deals with the topic of slavery which was really rare for westerns at the time.
This was the 45th of 66 Hoppy films and if you're a fan of westerns you should check this out. It's a great way to kill 64 minutes.
