CHOSEN SURVIVORS 1974 (FOX)

Very well made shocker about several people placed in an underground bunker for protection from thermonuclear war only to find themselves stalked by a blood crazed army of vamire bats!!
I had never heard of this film until it's DVD release and that is a shame because it's quite good and very creepy.
Jackie Cooper is the mistrusting banker, Alex Cord is an author and the rest of the cast includes Richard Jaeckel, Diana Muldaur, pedro Armendariz, Jr., Bradford Dillman, Lincoln Kilpatrick and Barbara Babcock.
Highly entertaining and gripping film with plenty of close ups of bats and mangled corpses.
Why this is so obscure is a mystery but at least it's out now for people to see and enjoy.

    It's also pretty dang 70s-y, in all the right ways.

    Groovy clothing, great downer sci-fi plot, and terrible retro-misogyny.

    And the bunker was a great setting.
