IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE 1953 (UNIVERSAL)

One of the all time classic sci-fi movies of the 50's stars Richard Carlson as an astronomer who, along with his finacee see a huge comet crash in the desert.
The comet turns out to be a spaceship that has crash landed and all the aliens want to do is repair their ship and get out of here.
Carlson is excellent as John Putnam, the man who tries to communicate with the aliens and keep the earth people from destroying them. Gorgeous Barbara Rush is his fiancee and Charles Drake is the sheriff who thinks Putnam is crazy.
Soon people in town start acting funny and Putnam discovers the aliens are using humans to help them repair the ship.
Based on a short story by Ray Bradbury and directed by Jack Arnold this is essential viewing for any cinema buff or sci-fi fan.
The rest of the cast includes Joe Sawyer, Russell Johnson and the seriously underused and sexy as hell Kathleen Hughes.
