David and Burt Bacharach wrote such great music as "Wishin and Hopin" for Dusty Springfield, "Close To You" which was done by The Carpenters, "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" for BJ Thomas and hundreds more.
True songwriters are getting to be very rare nowadays. A great talent and a wonderful legacy of music.
