A mysterious substance causes all the animals and insects who eat it to grow to enormous size. Gortner and friends are stranded on a small isle and must fight giant wasps, chickens, worms and rats.
Some of the effects are bad, but this is still a good film that also stars Ida Lupino, Ralph Meeker, Belinda Belaski, Pamela Franklin (who wants sex at the most inopportune time), Chuck Cortney and John Cypher.
Bert Gordon directed, which is why this is a personal favorite. Recommended for monster movie fans.
