Carol Lynley died on Sept. 3rd at the age of 77. She had a very long and good career in both TV and film.
She started her career in 1954 on an episode of the TV show Goodyear Playhouse and worked in TV until 1959 when her great looks and ability got her a role in the movie "Blue Denim".
I remember her best from the likes of "Harlow", "The Shuttered Room", "Bunny Lake Is Missing", and the 1972 all time classic Telefilm "The Night Stalker" as the girlfriend of reporter Carl Kolchek played by Darren McGavin. She also starred in "The Poseidon Adventure and "Beware The Blob".
Her TV appearances include such shows as "Night Gallery", "The Invaders", "Mannix" and many others.
A talented and beautiful woman who lit my fire when I was just a child and kept it burning for many, many years.
