STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD 1965 (SINISTER CINEMA)

This is also known as Hercules Vs. The Giant Warriors.

The was actor Dan Vadis' first time as Hercules, and he proves to be one of the best.

In this outing, Hercules must defeat an evil warlord. Yep it sounds like all the other sword and sandal films, but this time the warlord has a mother who is a witch and she gives him a magic dagger.

This dagger makes an army of golden steel men appear. These golden giants keep the population in check, and Hercules is called on to help. I was kind of surprised to see Hercules have his strength taken away by his father for killing an innocent man while in a rage over his kidnapped love.

This is a fun and fast moving film and the print is in beautiful color and widescreen. Vadis did his own stunts in the film as there were no stuntmen as big as he was.

In my opinion, this is one of the best sword and sandal films from the 60's. It's simple and unassuming and that is how entertainment should be...no message...no deep philosophy...just damn good fun.
